Devotions

  • The Rosary
    The Rosary is prayed beginning a half hour before Sunday Masses and after weekday Masses.
  • Eucharistic Day
    Instituted in 1897a Eucharistic Day is set aside each autumn on a Sunday. It begins with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament after the morning Eucharist with the afternoon given over for private devotion and prayer. The day concludes with the availability of Reconciliation, Evening Prayer, a communal Anointing of the Sick and Benediction.
  • Stations of the Cross
    This meditation on the Lord’s Passion is prayed on the Fridays of Lent.
  • Gorzkie Zale (Bitter Lamentations)
    This Polish Catholic devotion, a sung poetic lamentation from the 17th century, is prayed during the Lenten season.
