Cenacle Prayer Group

The Cenacle Prayer Group was organized in September of 1996 and is registered with the Marian Movement of Priests (see below). The purpose of this prayer group is to respond to the messages of Our Lady as given to Fr. Stefano Gobbi, a member of the Company of Saint Paul, in May of 1972. In October of that year with a number of other priests they founded the Marian Movement of Priests.

The Prayer Group gathers and joins themselves with Mary in fervent prayer and love in authentic cenacles. What is a cenacle? In her messages, Our Lady insistently calls upon priests, religious and faithful to gather together with her as when the first apostles gathered with her in the Upper Room in Jerusalem awaiting the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

The structure of the prayer includes:

Invocation to the Holy Spirit
Recitation of the Rosary
Reading and meditation on the messages given in the book, To the Priests, Our Lady’s Beloved Sons
Recitation of the Chaplet of Diviner Mercy
Prayers for the Pope, Fatima Prayers and Prayers for Priests

The Cenacle Group meets every Monday, 3;00 – 4:00pm in the Church Hall.
